Orientation Widget
The orientation cube serves as an anatomical marker of position on screen. As the model is moved around the screen the orientation cube moves with the model displaying the position the model is in at all times.

The orientation cube has six sides, each of which has a letter referring to an anatomical description of position of the structure you are viewing:

This side of the cube indicates that you are viewing the lateral surface of a structure.

This side of the cube indicates that you are viewing the medial surface of a structure.

This side of the cube indicates that you are viewing the inferior surface of a structure.

This side of the cube indicates that you are viewing the superior surface of a structure.

This side of the cube indicates that you are viewing the posterior surface of a structure.

This side of the cube indicates that you are viewing the anterior surface of a structure.
